Roles and Responsibilities (Area Sales Manager- Automation Division)
ü Primarily responsible for Sales and marketing of PLC,HMI,SERVO,VFD,ROBITS,CONTROLLERS,STEPPER,INDUCTION,SENSORS,ENCODER ) and accessories
ü Dealer business development, Project business development,
ü Active participation in Tendering
ü Sales Forecast
ü Visit plan New and Existing Customer with regards to technical presentation
ü Planning market activities
o Seminar & Training
o organize customer meet
o Exhibitions/ Trade Fair
o Catalogue and brochure planning
o Success story circulation internally/ externally
o Demo of products àPlanning & executions
ü CRM with Customer’s upper level persons
ü Setting targets for sales and profitability customer wise, segment wise
ü Responsible for collection and customer support
ü Review monthly Order and sales , activity report
ü Monitor Competitor activities
ü Individual visit plan for new and existing customer
ü Visit customer and conduct product presentation and DEMO
ü Work closely with main persons of customer, understand technical problems related to bearing maintenance, collection application details & provide solution activities
ü Weekly report to GM Sales
ü “e” Marketing
ü Request for quotation from HO/Sales Coordinator and regular follow up with HO
ü Negotiation and close orders
ü Maintain stock of brochures and marketing materials at branch level
ü Submit expense details on weekly basis to HO
ü Handling complaint management at branch level
ü Suggesting technical points to design for improving product design
ü Collection of ‘C’ form at branch level
ü Attending monthly review meeting at HO for progress of sales
ü Maintaining and sharing client database frequently to HO
ü Taking regular feedback from customer about product and service
