Job Description

Role: Sales Executive

Role DefinitionBusiness Development Executive is one who is responsible for generating revenues for Octagon Precision by sourcing contacts, requirements and converting them into contracts/Orders.

Responsibility Deliverable1.      Data Sourcing and Management

2.      Sales Meetings

3.      Sales Proposals

4.      Sales Conversion

 

 

 

 

Tasks & ActivitiesData Sourcing and Management

·       Sourcing accurate contact details from online sources like NABL or similar accreditation bodies website, LinkedIn,   Fundoodata, Google search etc and from offline  sources like directories of exhibitions, directories of industrial associations, Government E-procurement portals, online Tenders data published, enquiry generated on India mart, Trade India portals etc.  networks of the decision makers in various industries from Machine Engineering, Projects, Quality, Production, Standards Room departments of companies in the business of Automobile OEMs, 1st & 2nd Tier Auto Components Manufacturers,  Aerospace Components Manufacturers, Research & Development Manufacturing Organizations, Defense Establishments, Calibration Laboratories etc 

·       Maintaining the database on the internal templates / ERP system of the organization.

Sales Meetings

·       Preparing for meetings via structured research about target customer

·       Having effective sales meetings in order to:

o   Understand the customer requirement of measurement system.

o   Position Octagon Precision as the best choice for the customer

o   Generate requirements (RFQ) for measurement systems from the customer.

Sales Proposals       

·       Create presentations based on the customer requirements.

·       Co-ordinate with the operations team to generate proposals and   concept design of the proposed system.

Sales Conversion

·       Negotiate win-win deals

·       Maintain profitability index as per management guidelines

Customer Co-ordination

·       Write emails professionally to record all discussions with the customer.

·      Be the interface between the customer and the operations team from  enquiry till order completion.

Measurement Metrics·       # of meetings per week & per month

·       value of quotations submitted per month

·       Value of orders closed per month
