Safe Harvest Private Limited (SHPL) was born out of the idea that consumers would be
willing to pay a modest premium for guaranteed safe food products produced by small
farmers, creating a win-win situation for both farmers and the consumers. By connecting
these farmers with organized markets, Safe Harvest aims is to address pressing problems
of the agriculture economy and the environment.
Responsibilities
Meeting overall sales target for the city.
Creating tracking mechanisms to derive maximum efficiency out of the sales team and
guide them on the best practices and way ahead.
Acquiring different types of retail outlets and generating business from them.
Key account management with high ticket Modern Trade Chains.
Identifying right mix of distributors to meet geographical sales demand with
periodical review on brand performance.
Developing joint plans with distributors to ensure appropriate investment budget for
enhancing brand growth and the return on investment for mutual benefits.
Coordination with operations team to ensure fill rates and In-stocks are maintained.
Develop Sales promotion plans for delivering sales volumes.
Analyze sales outlet performance at regular intervals to initiate corrective action.
Develop month wise forecast for city sales.
Build positive and impacting relationship with all channel partners with in the
framework of company policies.
Execute policies on market returns and arrange for appropriate disposal of damaged
and expired stocks.
Qualification & Desired Skills
Experience : Min 5 years experience in Retail sales as Area Sales Manager.
Education : MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization
Should be well versed with Chennai market and has significant experience in retail
sales in Chennai.
Strong distributor management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; resilient and able to perform under
pressure.
Comfortable with data driven decision making.
Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from a lot of data
