Estimation Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction and interior design cost estimating, as well as an understanding of interior design concepts and principles.



Key Responsibilities:



- Develop cost estimates for interior design projects, including materials, labor, and other related expenses

Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications.



- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.



- Research and analyze costs for materials, equipment, and labor

Maintain accurate records of all cost estimates, contracts, and other project-related documentation.



- Review and evaluate bids from vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget

Provide guidance and advice to project teams regarding cost estimates, budgets, and scheduling.



- Keep abreast of new products, techniques, and trends in interior design and construction cost estimating.



Requirements:



- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil  Engineering, or a related field.

- 1+ years of experience in construction or interior design cost estimating.



- Knowledge of interior design concepts and principles.



- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.



- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.



- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



- Strong organizational and time management skills
